Charge speed is our focus in this “watt (what) to look for when selecting your professional energy storage”.
The C-rate is the unit used to measure the speed at which a battery is fully charged or discharged. Eg. charging at a C-rate of 1C means that the battery is charged from 0-100% in 1 hour. A C-rate higher than 1C means a faster charge, a 4C rate is four times faster and results in a full charge in 15 minutes. Likewise, a lower C-rate means a slower charge: 0,25C would be four times slower than 1C, resulting in a 4-hour charge.
247 Energy batteries are available at C-rates of 2 (performance cells) to 10 (ultra-performance cells). That is up to 20 times faster than legacy battery technology. Looking for performance? Go 247 Energy!
